Investing in Agriculture has been a money maker for many years.

Industrial farming over the last several decades has caused serious problems with soil nitrogen, over use of water, pesticides and fertilizers. Much farming land has become degraded and needs to be improved. Many of the country's wealthiest investors have agricultural investments including Buffet, Gates and Bezos. Biochar does that and is a win/win product for farmers and investors.

Investing in Agriculture Helps diversify portfolios

Agribusiness is the business sector encompassing agriculture and farming-related commercial activities. It represents business activities across the agriculture industry, from seeds and fertilizers to farming equipment and now, Biochar production. Agribusiness is an important industry driving efficiencies in agricultural productivity, improving food security and sustainability, providing fundamental support for economic growth nationally and globally.
Farmland is now used to help the environment

Farmland can serve as a cornerstone of a balanced investment portfolio. Commodity prices, including the cost of food, tend to rise with inflation. This strong correlation allows agricultural investing to protect against inflation, especially compared to high-volatility assets.

For a long time our food producing farmland has slowly degraded by commercialized farming, overuse of fertilizers and pesticides and from soil erosion. Now Biochar is seen as a savior of farmland by reducing nitrogen levels in the soil, helping water absorption and reducing atmospheric carbon, farmland has become even more valuable.

Agricultural Biochar production has a very clear future and certain outcomes to make it an exciting investment.
The rich know the story

The early 20th Century American humorist Will Rogers once quipped, “Buy land. They ain't making any more of the stuff.” Apparently, Buffett and Gates took Rogers’ advice seriously. For the past 30 years, the average return on farmland, adjusted for inflation, has been around 5%. That is a fairly solid investment for long-term investors, especially those who can buy and hold hundreds and even thousands of acres for the long term. Others, besides the super-rich, have also discovered this. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) reports that 30% of U.S. farmland is owned by landlords who do not farm themselves. Such long-term investors — like Buffett, Gates and others — understand that there is no real downside but potentially substantial upside with farmland investments. This sentiment is probably truer today than it ever has been, especially because of the threats to the world’s food supply from climate change and the war in Ukraine.
